As a Recruiter at Blue Mountain Resort, youll be at the heart of our hiring magicfinding, attracting, and hiring amazing people to bring our resort to life. From seasonal to full-time positions, youll handle everything from sourcing and marketing to screening and interviewing candidates in a fast-paced, high-energy resort environment. Youll work closely with our internal teams, community and international partners, acting as the go-to connector who helps build strong, talented teams across the mountain. No two days are the sameand thats exactly how we like it. Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand their unique needs and find the perfect candidates. You will be the bridge between hiring managers and incredible talent. Stay ahead of recruitment trends, building networks with schools, employment agencies, and community partners. You will enthusiastically attend industry and partner events. Using Social Media savvy and skills to promote employment at Blue Mountain. Using your interview and people skills to screen, assess and shortlist top-notch candidates. Partnering with Hiring Managers to interview candidates and make final hire decisions. Inputting resumes and candidate profiles, creating employment contracts and making job offers. Organizing, booking and attending job fairs in the community as well internationally. What do we need from you? We are looking for an innovative people-person with a passion for collaboration and fun. A minimum of 1 year recruitment experience or equivalent operating department experience. Bonus points if you are already connected with the hospitality or recreation world! A sales mentality - you are driven, enthusiastic, enjoy speaking to groups and ready to share our resort experience with potential candidates. Skill with marketing and social media, including posting and creating content Discretion, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive situations. Flexibility to work in Collingwood (both onsite at resort and the satellite office) and hit the road for recruitment events. Willingness and ability to travel local and internationally; a valid passport is an asset.
