Job Description

Overview Technical Specialist/Manager D365 CE role focusing on leading offshore project execution, responsible for schedule, utilization, resourcing, forecasting, and full accountability of technical implementation. The incumbent is technically hands-on, mentors the team on process and quality, and collaborates with onshore Solution Architect and Program Manager to drive project success. Responsibilities Lead a project primarily from offshore with accountability for schedule, utilization, resourcing, forecasting, and technical implementation. Be technically hands-on and guide the team in process, quality, and mentoring. Work closely with the onshore Solution Architect and Program Manager to drive project success. Participate in sprint planning, educate the team on processes, ensure active participation, understand user stories, raise gaps, provide estimates, understand design, perform development and unit testing, and update hours in the configuration management tool. Foresee issues, escalate as needed, and suggest process improvements. Lead development around D365 CE, including customizations and configurations. Brainstorm complex integrations and requirements, identify reusable components, establish frameworks, perform POCs, and document detailed designs. Develop/configure external applications that integrate with D365 CE and plugins/workflows that integrate with external applications. Investigate defects and provide fixes. Setup CI/CD and administer DevOps for the project. Act as a success manager for the project and collaborate with the onshore Solution Architect on designs and implementation accountability. Contribute to the overall D365 CE capabilityupskill, share improvements, conduct knowledge sessions, and groom future managers. Drive employee engagement and satisfaction. Skills & Qualifications 11+ years of technical experience in Dynamics CRM/D365 CE and .NET (ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WPF, SQL Server). An even mix of both is an advantage. Knowledge of Canvas App, Power Automate, and Power BI. Strong C# coding with experience in event-driven frameworks, dependency injection patterns, memory management, caching, and logging. Understanding security concepts. Solid OOP knowledge (classes, interfaces, inheritance, composition). Strong SQL query skills. Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 customizations and configurations including workflows, plugins, custom workflow activities, JavaScript, sitemap/ribbon customizations, PowerApps, deployment, and security. Experience consuming D365 APIs or other APIs; knowledge of SSIS/KWS, SCRIBE is an advantage. Experience writing D365 Fetch-based reports. Functional knowledge in at least two of Sales, Service, and Marketing modules. Strong HTML5 and CSS skills; JQuery proficiency. Experience with USD and/or D365/ADX portals. Azure knowledge (Logic Apps, Web API, Functions, and deployments). Unit testing experience (automated or manual). Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, JQuery, Knockout) is desirable. Strong documentation skills and ability to implement designs, drive adherence to configuration management processes (check-ins/outs, merges). Agile knowledge is essential. Ability to perform complex design work including entity design. Experience leading a team as a technical lead across multiple instances.
