For a listing of all Summer Camp Programs offered, please visit Appleby College Summer Camp Programs WHAT IS AMAZING ABOUT THIS JOB Work closely with summer program staff to photograph or film participants and/or produce edited photographs and footage for social media channels (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc.) weekly slideshows and web galleries Create posts maintaining brand and reputation of Appleby College Work cooperatively and participate in program activities where required Observe and promote all rules and regulations established for the program to include Applebys Mutual Respect policy Seek assistance and advice from the Summer Media Program Director or appointed supervisor and ensure all decisions made have the appropriate approvals Participate in all required training related to health and safety and for photography equipment and software YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU Level II applicants should have successfully completed secondary school and pursing or having completed 2 years of a post-secondary education in marketing/communications photography/film considered an asset Have experience in photography with the energy and enthusiasm to make participants and instructors enjoy being filmed/ photographed Possess knowledge and experience with a digital SLR camera and film-making Can quickly learn graphics software through online and supervised training Acquired knowledge of graphics and video-editing software including Lightroom, Premiere, Photoshop, Final Cut, Photodex Proshow and online web galleries (such as SmugMug) considered an asset Familiarity with varios social media platforms and trends Must be able to work efficiently to meet deadlines Have good communication skills Have valid Standard First Aid and CPR C or higher WHAT WE WILL OFFER TO MAKE THIS JOB AMAZING Competitive compensation for the camping industry Daily lunch & coffee/tea, Monday continental breakfast Employee discount available for immediate dependents in Summer Camps Welcoming, inclusive environment After-work access to our fitness facility including spin, yoga and HIIT training studios Appleby Camp uniform including staff shirts, name tags and lanyards included Complementary Staff socials such as: Canoeing, rock climbing, trivia night, awards dinner Opportunity to explore your lesson plans in a fun summer environment Opportunity to network within the Appleby community Beautiful environment and natural surroundings on our campus with its amazing facilities located on the shore of Lake Ontario WORK SCHEDULE Training Friday May 29, 2026 (Evening) Saturday May 30 & Sunday May 31, 2026 (Full Days) Saturday June 13, 2026 (Full Day) - As Assigned Setup and Orientation Sunday June 14, 2026 (Full Day) Camp Session Dates: June 22 August 28, 2026 - As Assigned Monday to Friday 8:15am4:15pm Mandatory Orientation: First day of each week, 7:30am4:30pm How To Apply If you or someone you know are interested in professional growth opportunities, please apply online.
