Are you a reliable, compassionate individual with a knack for cleanliness and a love for pets? A busy couple of senior executives residing in the Kingsway area of Toronto, just a short 5-minute walk from the Royal York subway station, is in immediate need of your services! With our two children recently having flown the nest, were looking for someone to help maintain our home and help care for our two dogs, Cooper and Gus. Heres What Were Looking For: Position: Part-time Pet Sitter/House Cleaner (with potential for additional responsibilities) Location: Kingsway area, Toronto (Near Royal York Subway, Grenview Entrance) Schedule: Ideally 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday (Must cover 10 AM to 2 PM), but we are open to alternative proposals. Start Date: Beginning of February Your Responsibilities: House Cleaning: Take initiative in keeping our home tidy and clean, ensuring a thorough cleaning of every room weekly. Pet Sitting: Care for Cooper, our 8-year-old German Wirehaired Pointer, and Gus, our 10-week-old Giant Schnauzer puppy. Cooper is intelligent, well-trained, and friendly with people but not always with other dogs. Gus is in the process of house training and requires patience, frequent outdoor trips, and lots of activities throughout the day. Crate training is also underway for Gus, allowing some downtime. Flexibility for Additional Tasks: As Gus grows and needs less constant supervision, were open to expanding responsibilities to include tasks like laundry and grocery shopping, maintaining the same hours. We Offer: Compensation: $20/hr with a commitment to pay even during periods our services might not be required (e.g., family vacations). Ideal Candidate: Experienced in house cleaning and pet care, especially with dogs. Reliable, with a flexible schedule to meet our core hour needs. A proactive communicator who loves pets and understands the importance of a clean, welcoming home environment. Able to start soon and commit to the proposed schedule, with room for flexibility.
