We are a loving family in Mississauga, Ontario seeking a caring and experienced nanny to help care for our 4 month old son on a part-time (2 day a week). Hours are 0830-4 or 430. I work shift work and my wife works a hybrid job, so each day is different with us either being home working or out of the house for the day. We would require 2 fixed days a week (Mon and Thurs preferred, but we can be flexible for the right person. We would prefer somebody who is flexible and could take on extra days or time as needed (with notice) We have an older son in daycare who may need to care from time to time as well, but the primary role would be our infant son. In addition to childcare, we are looking for someone who can assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with dogs as we have a Mini Irish Doodle and would be okay to let him out during the day or walks if you want to. We live in a great neighbourhood that is extremely walk friendly with parks, cafes, restaurants and more within a 5 min walk. Fresh air and sunshine are important so the ideal candidate would be happy taking him for walks, to the park or even just running their own errands with him in tow. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with babies, and be able to provide a nurturing and safe environment. Previous experience with infants is a must, and knowledge of infant CPR and first aid is highly desirable. We are willing to offer a hourly rate of $20.00, and can also discuss additional benefits for the right candidate.
