Position Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Lead Hand Electrical to join our team]. This role will report to the Production Manager and will play a key role in leading daily electrical production activities, supporting cross-functional coordination, and ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency across both Electrical Assembly and Matot operations. Work Location: Brampton, ON This is a 100% on-site position Key Responsibilities Act as Lead Hand for Electrical and Matot, supporting daily production priorities and workflow Schedule Orion production, identify material or resource shortages, and communicate requirements to cross-functional teams Provide operational coverage for Electrical and Matot Supervisors during vacations or absences Ensure daily work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with production targets Assemble electrical components and systems according to engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams accurately Wire, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within Matot electrical systems, including identifying missing or incorrect drawings or connections Secure components using approved fasteners such as bolts, screws, rivets, and speed clips Perform testing and quality checks to ensure assemblies meet safety, performance, and quality standards Troubleshoot and repair electrical assemblies as required Program and support Allen Bradley PLCs Program and configure tablets used in production and operations Complete and support Infinity, Eclipse, and COP systems, including Orion-related COPs Train employees across electrical areas to ensure task coverage and operational flexibility Deliver training on COPs, hall calls, door bucks, and Orion wiring and systems Support training across Matot electrical systems, including troughs, push buttons, controller modifications, and cabinet wiring Document assembly processes, test results, and deviations from standard procedures Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and new assembly techniques Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company safety standards Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Education & Certification Diploma or certification in Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial Electrical, or a related field Electrical trade certification or equivalent experience is an asset Experience Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical assembly and industrial electrical experience Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is required Experience working with PLC programming (Allen Bradley) is a strong asset Prior experience in a lead hand or senior technician role is preferred Key Skills Strong leadership and team support capabilities Excellent ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and deadline-driven Why Work with Us?
