Job Title

The Residential Driver will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers. The driver will collect solid waste or recyclables on curbside and/or backdoor routes and transporting to post-collection facilities. Key Responsibilities: Operate a residential / recycling collection, side-load and/or rear-load truck, ancillary equipment and hydraulic system to collect solid waste and/or recyclables on specified collection route. Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established company policies and contract obligations Responsible for daily pre and post trip inspections of trucks assigned Complete daily routes as assigned by the Route supervisors Satisfy customer needs for service Perform end of day driver check-ins to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner May perform some additional responsibilities as assigned by the Route Supervisors Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired. Must possess a DZ/AZ Driver''s License Minimum one (1) years of commercial driving experience Must be able to meet relevant criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment GFL Benefits: Medical Dental Vision RRSP Matching Allowance Overtime #GFLTalent We thank you for your interest.
