Overview We are looking for an outgoing, nurturing, person to support our family on a full time basis. This person will have to have experience with children under 18 months and comfortable with large dogs. We are in a rural area, this person must have access to reliable transportation (we live 15 minutes from Bracebridge off 118 E). This position requires the following: Responsibilities *This person will provide personal/ family assistance to anything that will assist us with day to day operations* Nanny care for one child under 18 months (75% of the the role)- supporting with meal time, play both indoor and outdoor, supporting child with napping Walking and caring for two large pets Household tasks and duties (laundry, cleaning, dishes) Assisting with errands such as grocery shopping, Costco, dropping paperwork off for our businesses. Assisting with office tidy and clean up (local business of two offices) Meal prepping *This role could evolve into assisting more with the business if this person is interested in additional hours and experience* This person has patience, ability to take feedback, understands the importance of child development and an eco-friendly household (no perfumes or fragrances). CPR and First Aid is a must and experience with working with children under 18 months. Experience Proven experience in caregiving or related fields is essential, particularly with children/ babies Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare balanced meals that cater to specific dietary requirements. Experience in household management, including cleaning and organizing tasks. A background in education or training is a plus, as the role involves teaching A compassionate demeanor If you are interested in this role, are flexible and open to working with a busy family; the days and hours can be flexible (20-35 hours a week).
