We are looking for a friendly and reliable housekeeper to help keep our home running smoothly. The position is Tuesdays to Fridays, starting between 910 AM for 23 hours per day (so about 8 to 12 hours per week). The rate is $20/hr. Duties will include: Daily kitchen clean up including unloading and loading the dishwasher Sweeping/mopping floors in high-traffic areas Folding and putting away laundry Making beds daily; changing bed linens and towels weekly Wiping bathroom vanities daily General tidying and light upkeep Less frequent tasks like cleaning the fridge monthly Seasonal tasks: Weekly outdoor work such as weeding flower beds in the summer and helping to water outdoor pots Assets (not required but welcome): Ability to help with cooking or meal prep Comfort with light household organizing About us: We had a wonderful long-term housekeeper before who has now returned to her home country. She didn''t speak a word of English so I do have an open mind! What matters most is that you are dependable, kind, and able to work independently once tasks are learned. This job is perfect for someone who is detail oriented and takes pride in making things look neat and tidy every time. We are located near main bus routes in River Heights. We already have a weekly cleaning service so this role is about daily upkeep and maintaining a tidy, welcoming home in between those visits. We have a friendly, hypoallergenic dog. You''d be off on weekends, stat holidays and around the holiday season. You''d also have the opportunity to be off when the family is on vacation. Hours can be flexible, so if you are juggling more than one job or can''t make it now and again I can definitely work with that.
