Private Residence Owner looking for an experienced Housekeeper. We are in the SilverTip area therefore your own car/transport is essential. A semi retired couple working from home, is looking for a part-time experienced housekeeper with an exceptional eye for detail for their home in Canmore. Initially looking after our rental property until we move into our permanent residence in March. Initially 6 hours per week with mostly ironing Then when we move into our home a minimum of 12 hours per week split (2 days per week). Flexibility to work extra hours. Preferable - Tuesday-Friday Approximately 4 hours of the job will be ironing and therefore a love and proficient knowledge/experience of ironing in your previous employment is a must. Your day will include the obvious duties (examples below but not limted to) : General housekeeping, valeting clothes including ironing and folding, vacuuming, linens/beds, ensuring all rooms are clean, sweeping, washing, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, and sanitizing all areas and surfaces. Organising cupboards, storage room areas, cleaning the fridge, empty trash receptacles and replace liners, reporting maintenance issues as they occur and other duties as required in a private home. Canadian Resident or Citizen Housekeeping experience Exceptionally strong eye for detail and a meticulous approach to cleaning Must have experience in and enjoy ironing Excellent organizational and time management skills Self-motivated, good initiative, flexible Comfortable with dogs Ability to act with discretion and respect confidentiality at all times Ability to handle all furniture and appliances carefully Good knowledge of cleaning supplies and chemicals We are seeking candidate looking for a long term position, who we hope will be with us for many years to come.
