Hello and thank you for considering helping us out! We are a young professional couple moving to Vancouver from northern BC with our happy energetic two year old. We have daycare lined up but need additional help with drop-off, pickup, and some weekends. Our ideal nanny would be able to come to our False Creek home 3-4 days per week to help with daycare drop off. We will sometimes need additional help in the evenings picking up our child before daycare ends at 6pm and giving him dinner/putting him to bed. The ability to occasionally provide care later into the night and on weekends would be a huge bonus, but not required! We expect roughly 15 hours per week, but are flexible and happy to discuss those details. We know our schedule about one or two months in advance. We anticipate needing help with 3-4 drop-offs and pickups per week. We are open to guaranteeing a minimum number of weekly hours. We anticipate having a spot in a daycare about 10min from our house in September but for the first 1-2 months will likely attend a daycare in North Van so the ability to get our child there and back is a must (drive/bike/transit are all possibilities). Our child loves being outside, is gentle, kind, and energetic. We hope to find a caregiver that has some flexibility in their schedule, is playful, and has lots of energy of their own!
