We are looking for an ORGANIZED, enthusiastic and driven individual to help our household run smoothly. This includes child care, errands, cooking/baking, and household chores in West End Guelph. Children are a 12 year old and 8 year old twins who are fun, imaginative, hilarious and playful. Our kids love swimming, playing, reading, crafts, baking, lego, animals, pretend play, music, baseball & soccer. They are always up for an adventure but also love hanging around home. Three great parks within walking distance as well as the library. We are not fans of screen time. Our ideal candidate is a NON SMOKER. They also have strong communication skills (verbal and written). The ability to demonstrate energy and enthusiasm as well as initiative is an asset. Reliability and maturity are needed. Experience required. A vulnerable sector check completed in the last 6 months is required before work begins. This is the ideal job for someone comfortable in the kitchen, looking to contribute to a very busy household and who enjoys kids. Own transportation to/from job is required. Our ideal candidate would have their license and a vehicle available during work hours to run errands and the kids to appointments/adventures (car sharing with me is possible) Start date is somewhat flexible. At minimum we are looking for someone July 15 through Aug 30, 830am to 6pm. However, we are also open to hiring May through August where the job in May/June would be 12-6pm and July/August would be 830-6pm. References from our previous employees are available upon request.
