We are a family in Guelph, Ontario seeking occasional childcare for our two children, 4 and 7 years old. We are looking for someone who can do occasional evenings and weekends, 5-10 hours per month, with potential for more. Our 7 year old has autism and requires some additional support. She is bright, talkative, and energetic, and needs support with social interactions, following instructions, and some self-regulation. Our child does well when her needs are met and she knows she is liked. We are looking for someone who has experience working with children with autism and/or other special needs, can be kind while being firm, and has lots of patience.
