Hi there! Our family in Calgary, Alberta is searching for a nurturing nanny to care for our infant and primary school-aged child. This is a live-out, part-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $20.00. The ideal candidate should have CPR certification, Active Vulnerable Sector Police Check (PIC) and experience with children of similar age. We are looking for someone to get our two kids ready and dropped off to school/daycare in the mornings. We would require someone from 06:45 - ... weekday mornings Monday to Friday starting in January to June (Some flexibility on the timing could start at 6:30 or 7:00). We are seeking a caring, warm, responsible, and experienced nanny to provide attentive and nurturing care during weekday morning drop-offs for our five-year-old daughter and our two-year-old daughter. The ideal candidate will be attentive, reliable, energetic and passionate about working with children, and will help create a safe, structured, and consistent morning routine. Some flexibility preferred as some additional but rare evening or weekend coverage may be requested (with compensation). Must be okay with being around our family dog (care of dog will not be a part of responsibilities). Must have active drivers licence and own safe vehicle to transport children (gas money for driving to school/daycare provided). Key Responsibilities: Supervise and ensure the safety of the children at all times Drop off 5-year-old at morning kindergarten (located within walking distance). Drop off 2-year-old at daycare (short drive away) Light Morning Help (Breakfast, finish packing backpacks, gathering outdoor gear for the children) Communicate regularly with parents about morning routine and any concerns (if they arise) Perform light meal-prep and light child related housekeeping including tidying up play areas and washing child-related laundry (if needed) We truly value someone who can become a steady, trusted presence for our child and part of our familys support system.
