We are looking for a warm, responsible, and enthusiastic caregiver for our four year old son on a part-time basis (approximately 16-20 hours weekly). We live in the Stonegate/Queensway area (approx Parklawn/Queensway). We are now looking for someone to join us for after-school pickup and care, from 3-7 pm Monday to Thursday. Open to extended hours for the right fit. The position would continue year-round, even in the summer. A clean driving record and valid drivers license is a must, as school pickup is a short drive. We are committed to ethical and mindful parenting. We are young professionals with busy jobs, but we prioritize parenting our wonderful son. We have been lucky to have found caregivers that share our core values. Our son enjoys open-playing, storytelling, and books. He is curious, funny, and a joy to be around. We are looking for someone who can support our family unit, with the main priority being our son. Although the main focus is providing childcare, we would look for some assistance with light meal-prep, keeping the play areas and kitchen tidy, etc. We are looking for someone who is comfortable driving short distances with our son, in our vehicle. We believe this is an important and reciprocal relationship, and would invite the right candidate to speak with our previous caregivers and/or to come to our home for a paid trial to ensure a good fit.
