We are new to Courtenay and we are looking to welcome a nanny in our family, starting June 8th. We are looking for a great human to share our lives, but mostly our children''s, Elliott & Alice. We are an outdoorsy family, we love sailing (we are on the sailboat pratty much every weekend with the family) and Mountain biking. With the kids, we believe in calm and patience and family time is extremely precious to us. This is why having a nanny makes so much sense for us... He is a contemplative little boy who likes to take his time; Elliott is at daycare 5 days a week at the moment and we would like to have him around a little bit more. Elliott is currently seeing a physio and Speech therapist to help him (and us) getting some tools so that he can gain confidence and his speech and motor skills. Elliott LOVES water: throwing rocks, jumping in puddles & swimming, all of it!!! He loves to help us and participate in everything we are doing, especially in the kitchen. We are looking for someone to take care of Alice & Elliott. This is a Live out position. Ideally, the schedule would be from 9am to 2pm, 3 to 4 days a week, but we are really flexible on the schedule since we work from home (between 15 to 20 hours is what we aim for, depending on the salary). We are looking for someone who has an ECE background, an interest in ECE or has life experience oriented with children. We are looking for someone to be part of our kids development and we are willing to pay accordingly to the person''s experience. We are super collaborative and really involved in our kid''s life and development and we are more than happy to provide material for some activities or ideas to make everyone''s day fun and a good learning experience.
