Our family is searching for a caring and responsible nanny/baby-sitter to care for our toddler on a part-time, live-out basis in the Toronto (Leslieville) area. Our ideal candidate is someone who is young or young at heart, active and happy to run around and play physically with our child. Youre a great fit if you like singing and dancing, reading books, running around outside at the playground and joining in on make-believe adventures. We try to live in the moment and have fun where we are - we dont do a lot of screen time and keep our personal cell phone use to a minimum. In addition to general child care and having fun, the role will involve feeding (with light meal prep and clean up), assisting with going to the bathroom (our child is newly potty trained, so you would need to support with this, including bringing all necessary supplies when venturing out and about), and engaging in age-appropriate activities (both at home and when going out in the neighbourhood). We are happy to negotiate a competitive hourly rate, and the hours will be flexible - because we are looking for part-time care, we are happy to work out a plan that suits your schedule. Our child is currently in daycare 2 days a week, so we are looking for help 1-2 days a week from morning to midday (3-5 hours a day) - but we are flexible with the exact days and times. This arrangement might suit someone who has another regularly scheduled part-time job and/or part-time studies. We are also open to a part-time nanny share arrangement with another family if the right opportunity presents itself.
