We have an energetic, curiosity-filled 7-year-old son who is neurodivergent (ASD/ADHD experience is a huge plus), a sweet 7-month-old daughter, and another baby arriving late this summer. We live in a detached home in Griesbach and are looking for a reliable, patient, and energetic person to become part of our village. We are looking for someone who isn''t just watching the clock, but who can actively engage our son with structured play and outdoor activities to give my pregnant wife a well-deserved break. We treat our staff with great respect and are looking for a long-term connection. What we are looking for: We are seeking a Respite Worker/Aide primarily to support our 7-year-old neurodivergent son. This is an ideal role for a University student in Psychology, Education, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy looking for relevant hands-on experience. Schedule: 1 weekday afternoon or evening a week plus 1 morning or afternoon on the weekend. Rate: from $20/hour - dependent on experience. Responsibilities: 1-on-1 Engagement: Taking our 7-year-old outside (parks/walks), engaging in sensory-friendly play, and managing transitions. Mother''s Help: Occasionally assisting with our 7-month-old baby or light household flow (no deep cleaning required) to support my wife. Safety & Supervision: providing a calm, structured environment. Requirements: Experience with neurodivergent children (Autism/ADHD) is preferred. High energy and patience.
