Please read before applying to make sure you meet requirements. Our family in Edmonton, Alberta is seeking a nurturing and reliable nanny to join our team. We have a 1 and 2 year old boy and require 20 hours a week of childcare. In addition to childcare, occasional meal prep, light housekeeping duties, mostly for the kids (bottles, food, their dishes) will be requested. Infant CPR certification is a must, ensuring the safety and well-being of our little ones. We are located Southwest Ambleside, we prefer you be within a 10 km radius, and must have a license and vehicle as you will have to pick them up from daycare on weekdays. We will provide a schedule on a monthly basis noting what days and hours needed. Example of shifts will be: Tuesday - Thursday - 5:15 - 9:15pm (pick up kids from daycare and take home to start routine, we live 7 mins away from daycare) Saturdays 10:30-6:...pm (kids will be home, no need to pick them up) Occasional Sundays 10:30-6:...pm Mostly it would be weekday evenings between 5 PM to 9 PM, Saturdays and occasionally on Sundays, and sometimes we will request a later evening if we have an event or function to attend (till 11pm onwards), but will give advance notice. We will be paying through a payroll company, and will follow Alberta regulations, CPP, EI, taxes, vacation pay etc. You will get direct deposit and a paystub, also T4 yearend. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, have a genuine love for children, possess strong communication skills, and exhibit a high level of patience and understanding. We are offering $20-$25 an hour depending on your qualifications.
