Looking for a motivated individual to join our dairy farm near Listowel, ON! Job Duties: -Milking cows according to established farm procedures and schedules -Preparing cows for milking, including cleaning and sanitizing udders -Operating and maintaining milking equipment and parlour systems -Monitoring animal health and reporting concerns such as illness or injury -Cleaning and sanitizing the milking parlour and equipment after each milking -Assisting with feeding, bedding, and general barn maintenance as required and all general farm duties -Following all farm policies, biosecurity protocols, and health and safety procedures -Working independently during assigned shifts and cooperatively with other farm workers Job Requirements: -Must be able to work full-time hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays -Ability to work independently with minimal supervision -Ability to work as part of a team -Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working in barn conditions -Experience with dairy cattle and milking systems is an asset but not required; training will be provided -Willingness to follow animal welfare and workplace safety standards -Must have a minimum of 6 months hands experience in agriculture related field Work Environment: -Fast-paced dairy farm setting -Exposure to livestock, equipment, and varying weather conditions Wage- $17.60 per hour working full time with an average 45-50 hours per week. 2 Vacancies available.
