Care Coordinator Hamilton Region Status: Casual part time Location: The successful candidate will be located in Hamilton and will assist multiple clinics across the Hamilton region. Responsibilities Answer telephone calls, greet patients and visitors upon arrival, and provide excellent customer service for all questions or concerns. Coordinate a detailed and accurate intake of information on the patients first visit to the clinic and throughout their treatment plan. Assist patients with completing paperwork at the clinic to avoid errors and inaccurate information. Coordinate scheduling of patient appointments and maintain the patients medical record. Collect payment at the time of service and maintain accurate insurance claims to thirdparty funders. Complete data entry and billing for thirdparty funders. Coordinate courier packages (in or outgoing) and process incoming and outgoing email, mail, and faxes. Provide administrative support to the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director. Qualifications & Core Competencies High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent. High degree of organizational and multitasking skills in a busy and fastpaced work environment. Previous experience in a physiotherapy or private health care clinic setting is an asset. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Computer savvy and data entry skills. Flexible and adaptable to change. Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision. Postsecondary education in Medical Office Administration or related field considered an asset. Reliable transportation to work at multiple clinics across the Hamilton region is required.
