Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food preparation and service. A background in hospitality, food industry, or hotel experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Food Service Supervisor will play a key role in fostering a positive team environment and ensuring operational excellence. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily food service operations, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling procedures Manage team members through interviewing, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations Oversee food safety compliance and ensure adherence to health regulations and sanitation standards Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems like Micros POS and manage cash handling procedures Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery and effective team management Assist in restaurant management tasks such as inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness Lead by example in hospitality standards, including serving guests professionally and efficiently Monitor kitchen operations to ensure quality control and consistency in food presentation and taste Address customer concerns promptly to resolve issues effectively Experience Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry Extensive restaurant management background with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms Experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or bars is advantageous Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work environment Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction Background in food handling, kitchen operations, and restaurant experience is highly desirable Previous experience in interviewing prospective staff members is preferred This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team within a vibrant food service environment while ensuring operational excellence.
