Position Title: PT Pharmacy Clerk Position Type: Part time Employment Type: Permanent Location: 500 Edinburgh Road South, Guelph, ON Shift: Days, Evenings & Weekends This position is part of a unionized bargaining unit. The hourly wage for this position starts at $16.60 and may be higher based on qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. Be Our Pharmacy Clerk! As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our pharmacy area is always wellstocked and visually appealing for our customers. Your responsibilities will include keeping shelves properly stocked and displayed, providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to every customer. What Youll Do Assist with proper ordering, rotation and inventory control of product in the department. Maintain good knowledge of the products carried and the display of products within the department. Assist with end displays, seasonal displays, etc. Receive orders and ensure product received matches invoices and is in good condition, then store/put away appropriately. Enter and reconcile invoices/credits and maintain shrink logs. Provide customer assistance with merchandise on the sales floor and at the cash register, and respond to specific requests regarding product information and location within store. May be assigned to do relines within the department. Maintain scanning/price integrity within the pharmacy department. Maintain store standards and conditions and may be assigned to clean spills in the aisles, sweep floor, and clean shelves as required. Perform inventoryrelated tasks. Check emails and respond accordingly. Answer phones as required. Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist. Follow all applicable Company policies and procedures, Government regulations, Health and Safety and Food Safety regulations. Qualifications Customer service driven. Strong communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Good product knowledge and attention to detail. Key Relationships As a Pharmacy Clerk, you will receive direction from the Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist. You'll interact with internal contacts, including Pharmacy Operations, Pharmacy Merchandising, Inventory Control and Audit, Store Services, McMahon, and Metro IT, and with external contacts such as customers and direct pharmacy vendors. The responsibilities and relationships assigned to this role may change as necessary to achieve Metro's business objectives.
