Job LocationHybrid Model: Oakville + Work from Home BASIC FUNCTIONAccountable for replenishment finished good and raw materials planning, inventory management, inbound logistics Continuous Improvement Project/Opportunities. The responsibility also includes CMO vendor relationship management, as well as SAP Master data creation/compliance. Detailed Responsibilities General In conjunction with the Senior Director Operations, continuously improve and implement the Supply Chain Management strategy shaping the processes to ensure the organizations readiness to meet company objects. Builds and maintains Supply Chain Management supporting structures. Lead a team of direct reports up to and including Supply Chain Managers. Ensure the timely flow of product supply from supplier to end-user in order to meet sales demand and avoid any product shortage. Ensure the cost effectiveness of Logistics and Operations - bringing projects in on or below budget - Including Launch of New Products related to Supply Chain and Packaging/Artwork. Build and maintain strong relations with local and global vendors and contract manufacturers to sustain regular and timely communication with all vendors, and act as the primary contact for all products, packaging and API sourcing matters. Liaise with vendors to ensure the effective scheduling and optimal product availability, collaboration with Commercial Operations, Program Management, Sales and Marketing to resolve any supply, pricing or other issues, particularly during a product launch period (eg.: testing, Complex Logistics, manufacturing schedules) Design, develop and continuously improve processes that support company operations and ensuring compliance with industry GMP, company policies and procedures. Responsible for training and developing staff - including goal setting and monitoring of performance through KPIs. Annual budget development, management and tracking for the areas of inventory management, and inbound logistics. Key Business Lead for leading monthly S&OP process. Responsible for enhancing and executing S&OP process. Communication of Critical product supply and Get Well Plans Master Data oversight for all Supply Chain Management related master data. Manages all material master data and the related change control processes in a compliant manner. Ensures efficient planning of all inbound receipts including but not limited to - finished product, and API. Participate in QBRS with Logistics providers Compliance with applicable internal SOPs, industry requirements and standards within a GMP operation. Ensures all export, import and local shipments are completed as per business requirements and SOPs in a timely and accurate fashion. Responsible for reconciliation of inbound receipts with on hand inventories. 3PL partner management. Annual budget preparation and management. Product - Production and Procurement CMO Planning - Proactively manage the purchase order cycle from CMO to product inbound receipt. Internal Planning - Manage and communicate required timelines for the release and packaging activities of products to meet inventory and business requirements. Inventory level optimization by balancing demand forecasts and inbound receipts with financial objectives. Owns the maintenance and utilization of the replenishment tool; including scheduling meetings with stakeholders to review sales demand and product purchasing forecasts and to alert relevant colleagues related to trends and supply shortage risks. Manage the end-to-end Master Requirements Plan based on current and expected demand for all product, packaging and API requirements. Oversee the supply of all packaging and API materials to the respective manufacturing site to ensure timely and efficient production of goods.( where applicable) Provides insight and champions issues related to cost effective product sourcing and the development of related packaging and shipping materials. Co- Leads the corporate weekly Product Availability meeting and executive monthly S& session. Manages the corporate operations KPI dashboard. Preparation of annual rough cut capacity plan. Others Involved in supporting Finance with year-end closing documents and activities Involved in supporting Quality with Health Canada audits and associated activities/ documents Support BD with information required for contract negotiations (ex: chain, purchasing, production, packaging or shipping information and quotations). Skills and Competencies Strong written and oral communication skills Proven ability to manage projects and to work collaboratively in a team setting Advanced knowledge of Microsoft EXCEL and comfort with using ERP software A numbers person who is attentive to detail. Good Manufacturing Practices knowledge Experience with the design, development and implementation of SOPs and systems.
