We are an independent clinic offering chiropractic, osteopathic and massage therapy to the Durham Region community, with a special focus in concussion management, exercise rehabilitation, and neuromuscular acupuncture.Role DescriptionThis is a potentially full-time on-site role for a Registered Physiotherapist at The Spinal Mechanics and Wellness Clinic, located in Pickering, ON.The Physiotherapist will be responsible for:assessing patientsplanning treatment programsimplementing physiotherapy treatmentseducating patients on physical health and wellnessworking alongside a Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) to delegate active rehabilitationcompleting necessary paperwork associated to care (WSIB and MVA claims)The role involves working closely with other healthcare professionals, specifically chiropractors, massage therapists, and osteopaths to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.The clinic shares space with Crossfit Pickering which serves as a great referral source and physical space for our practitioners to have access to the gym space for active rehabilitation and small group physiotherapy if they wish.QualificationsLicensed Physiotherapist with experience in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planningSkills in manual therapy and exercise prescriptionProficiency with WSIB forms is an assetExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and collaboration with healthcare teamAble to work efficiently with a Physiotherapy Assistant (PTA) team to delegate careAbility to work effectively in a team environment and individuallyStrong organizational and record-keeping skillsKnowledge of health and wellness promotionExperience in clinical settings or specialized areas such as orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, or neurology is a plusBachelor's or Master's degree in PhysiotherapyCompensationPhysiotherapist will be working as an Independent Contractor and paid in a fee split for their servicesPhysiotherapist will also be compensated for supervision of PTAsFurther compensation discussion will be based around experience as a Physiotherapist and continuing education training #J-18808-Ljbffr
