As we continue to expand, were looking for a detail-oriented and high organizedBookkeeper to join our team and manage our day-to-day financial operations and keep our books in top shape.Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & Daily Financial OperationsRecord daily financial transactions using specifically accounting software QuickbooksMaintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger and journal entriesReconcile bank statements, credit cards, and vendor accounts regularlyManage accounts payable and receivable, including issuing invoices and processing paymentsTrack client and model payments, follow up on outstanding balancesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reportsAssist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial plansSupport year-end closing processes and liaise with external accountants for tax filingMaintain records of taxes (HST, payroll, etc.) and ensure compliance with CRA regulationsPayroll & Talent PaymentsProcess payroll for internal staff, including model payouts and commission calculationsEnsure timely and accurate payments to talent, including deductions and remittancesAdministrative & Compliance SupportOrganize documentation, receipts, invoices, and expense reports for easy audit or reviews and tax referenceHelp maintain model earnings and agency commission records in line with industry standardsQualificationsDiploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2+ years experience in bookkeeping or accounting (experience in creative or talent agency a plus)Must have strong proficiency with accounting software QuickBooksSolid understanding of Canadian accounting principles and CRA requirementsExcellent attention to detail and time managementStrong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a small team settingDiscretion and professionalism, especially when handling confidential talent and financial informationNice to HaveExperience working in fashion, entertainment, or modeling industriesFamiliarity with payroll systems and model/talent contract structuresBilingual in French or other languages is an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
