The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in accounting practices, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This position requires proficiency in QuickBooks on-line software and a strong understanding of corporate finance principles.ResponsibilitiesManage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.Utilize accounting software such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR) & Meditex for bookkeeping and financial reporting.Support budgeting activities to align with organizational goals.Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.Accounts Receivable, including creation of invoices and processing of patient payments, completion of Accounting Sheet in patient charts, collecting outstanding balances, coordination with other departments regarding patient invoicing and payments, and monitoring of clinic schedules for upcoming payments due.Accounts Payable, including managing payments to vendors, and reconciliation and management of inter-clinic and inter-physician billingInventory managementMonitoring of bank account balance for automatic withdrawalsAssist with Year End Accounting processOHIP billing, including creating claims, processing monthly Remittance Advice reports, and fixing and resubmitting billing errors for multiple physiciansManagement of petty cashExperienceProven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a solid understanding of corporate finance principles.Familiarity with accounting software, QuickBooks & Meditex, is highly desirable.Strong skills in account reconciliation, auditing, payroll, budgeting, and bookkeeping are essential.Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
