You'll help deliver a legendary experience to our business, our customers' lives, and our communities.What You Will DoWriting estimates and reviewing photo-based estimates ensuring accuracyStrong technical automotive experience required in collision repairDetermine if a vehicle is repairable or should be deemed a total lossNegotiates with repair shop(s) on proper repair methods and price for the clients vehicle/repairsControl expenditure to repair shops by following up promptly on further damage reported by the repair shopCompleting total loss evaluationsComplete virtual vehicle re-inspections uploaded by repair shopsAssist and cooperate with colleagues during busy periodsParticipate in various team and performance meetings.RequirementsDirect experience either appraising auto damages or working in an auto body shopPossess (3+ years) technical knowledge of auto body work and mechanical repairsDemonstrate superior interpersonal and communication skills as well as a strong client focusMaintain positive morale and demonstrate team spiritEffective communication, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external clientsStrong problem-solving/analytical/negotiation skillsExcellent organization and time management skillsComfortable working independently & within a team environmentAdaptable to change and new technologyCollege or Technical degree would be an assetCompletion of autobody industry accepted technical courses is an asset (continuation of education will be required)Interprovincial Red seal Certification would be an assetWho We AreAs part of TD Bank Group, one of Canada's largest financial institutions, at TD Insurance, we care for Canadian families, making it easy to get the best advice, protection, and support in their moments of need, always.
