Millwright Reporting to the Shop Manager, this position plays an integral role in our manufacturing operation and includes functions such as Assembly, Troubleshooting, Repair and Maintenance. Position Responsibilities Installation & Assembly: Reading blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to assemble and install machinery like Winches, Pumps, Tanks and Robotic systems. Precision Alignment: Using specialized tools (e.g., micrometers, lasers, and plumb bobs) to align gears, shafts, and motors. Maintenance & Repair: Performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems. Fabrication: Operating machine and hand tools like lathes, mills, drills, grinders to fabricate or modify parts as needed. Rigging & Moving: Forklift and scissor lift to position, mount, install equipment, boilers, winches. Demonstrate a sense of urgency in achieving results. Key Skills Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and understanding PLC (Programmable Logic Control) systems. Manual Dexterity: Ability to work with hand and power tools with high precision. Physical Stamina: Capacity to lift heavy objects (often over 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and work in noisy industrial environments. Certifications: Licensed Millwright or Apprentice Millwright. Position Requirements 4-5 years of experience working in a machine shop or industrial environment. Flexibility to work extended shifts, including evenings or weekends.
