Sales Agronomist Full Time Austin Agro Site Location Deadline for applications: Open until filled Description Homestead Co-op is hiring a Full Time Sales Agronomist at our Austin Agro Site location. To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our brand to life, visit us at What youll do Reporting to the Agro Manager your duties will include but are not limited to: Develop and implement a customer communication/sales plan including grower & industry meetings, field trials. Deliver on field activities such as scouting, soil testing and field reports to growers. Communicate the needs of the growers to Manager and Agro Team. General Health and Safety responsibilities. Continue both personal and professional development. (Class 3, Seed Treatment, Dealer & Operator Licenses, Forklift, WHMIS, TDG etc.) Operate Machinery for yard operations as a team. (Forklift, Skid steer, Conveyor, Tractor) Who you are You are looking for a career in Retail and: You have a degree or diploma in agriculture or related field. A Certified Crop Advisor or Manitoba Institute of Agrologists designation is considered an asset. You are registered or eligible for registration with the respective provincial Professional Institute of Agrology. You are able to work both independently and as a member of a highly motivated team. You have excellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to problem solve. You are highly motivated. You possess strong interpersonal skills. Must hold a valid Drivers License. Must be able to work flexible hours and meet the physical demands of the job.
