MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SATURDAY AND SUNDAYS White Rock Supermarket - we are currently looking for a full-time and part-time stock personnel/ cashier to work anytime and any day during the store''s open hours. Ideal candidates must be available to work shifts between 9:00 AM - 6:00PM. Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following: CUSTOMER SERVICE: -Greets customers and creates a friendly shopping atmosphere -Provides information to customers and answers their questions and inquiries about products, procedures or policies -Promotes products, such as seasonal items or specials -Resolves problems that arise such as customer complaints and supply shortages -patience is required b/c we mostly deal with elderly customers STOCKING: -Receives, unloads and unpacks products and counts, weighs and sorts them according to company receiving procedures -Ensures displays are full at all times and shelves are stocked with good quality products in all sections including, the Outside, Front, Veggie stands, Cashier Counter, and Reduced Section -**Must be able to lift at least 40lbs and operate dollys/ carts -Ability to work in a wet and cold environment CASHIER: -Operates cash registers, point of sale equipment and other equipment for processing transactions -Receives and processes payments by cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit accurately -Maintains the accuracy of the store''s daily sales record and cash balance (including money in the safe and change box) and minimizes cash shortages -Weighs produce and bulk goods, wraps and places merchandise in bags -Must be able to work in a fast paced Training will provided.
