Shift Lead Warehouse Operations Location: Mississauga, ON Job Type: Full-Time, Ongoing Pay Rate: $21/hour Shift Details S3: Friday to Sunday | 5:30 AM 6:00 PM Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on Shift Lead to support warehouse operations within the Put to Store (PTS) areas. This role focuses on frontline leadership, operational efficiency, safety compliance, and team development. The Shift Lead works closely with the Operations Manager to ensure productivity targets are met while maintaining consistent operational standards. Key Responsibilities Perform General Labor (GL) duties for approximately 70% of the shift , while leading the team on the floor Lead and work alongside associates in the Put to Store (PTS) areas to ensure smooth daily operations Provide coaching, training, and safety observations to ensure adherence to policies and best practices Conduct performance check-ins with the Operations Manager at least twice per shift Track daily top and bottom performers using Reasonable Expectation (RE) metrics Document coaching conversations and monitor performance trends Monitor attendance and identify gaps in PUT times, providing coaching where required Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed and effectively communicated Identify high-performing team members based on productivity, attendance, and cultural alignment Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including sweeping work areas and removing garbage as needed Qualifications & Skills Minimum 1 year of experience in a Team Lead or similar leadership role Previous experience in warehouse or distribution center operations Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills Ability to analyze performance trends and take corrective action Knowledge of safety and operational procedures in a logistics environment Strong communication skills Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a physically demanding environment
