They mentor developers, review code, and make key architecture decisions. Acting as a bridge between engineering and stakeholders, they help translate requirements into effective technical execution.This role is an equity-based position. Compensation consists of equity today, potential token-based rewards pending approvals, and salary that begins when revenue milestones are reached. A minimum commitment of 20 hours per week is required.Role SummaryDefine and initially own the overall system architecture across web, mobile, backend, and AI components.Product Development: Build and ship core features including:Manga reader and content delivery systemsCreator dashboards and publishing toolsCommunity features (forums, comments, profiles)AI chat and recommendation featuresCentralized hub experience tying everything togetherStartup Background/Ownership: Make pragmatic technology decisions balancing speed, scalability, and maintainability. Team Building: Assist in the hire, mentor, and lead future engineers as the team grows. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and business to translate vision into reality. Infrastructure & DevOps: Assist in overseeing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, security, and performance.
