Key responsibilities As an AuditManager, you have the opportunity to foster strong client relationships and play an important role in our Audit and Accounting practice. Your responsibilities willinclude: - Plan and execute engagements, while ensuring timely completion and compliance with Client Accounting Services(CAS), International Financial Reporting Standards(IFRS), Accounting Standards for NotforProfit Organizations (ASNPO), PublicSector Accounting Standards (PSAS) and Accounting Standards for PrivateEnterprises(ASPE). - Deliver assurance and advisory services that inspire clientsatisfaction. - Expand our local and national client base through proactive promotion, networking and relationshipbuilding in the Yukon and acrossCanada. - Deliver services to diverse industries that align with the firmsexpertise. - Use audit software and client accounting systems to streamline processes and ensure accuracy and systemintegration. - Provide consulting and tax advice to firm partners, team members and technology partners to help deliver integratedsolutions. - Supervise and mentor staff andstudents. - Contribute to the firms growth strategy, including participation in our exciting rebrand, and leverage partnerships to enhance serviceofferings. Key requirements We are seeking a dedicated professional with the followingqualifications: - Must have achieved a CPA designation and successfully passed the Common Final Examination(CFE). - A minimum of 7years of public accounting and audit experience. (We will also consider candidates with equivalent experience gained through alternative careerpaths.) - Must hold a PublicAccounting Licence or meet the experience requirements to obtainone. - A proven ability to set and meet deadlines and oversee a team, while demonstrating a professional approach to careergoals. - A Bachelors degree (or equivalentexperience). - Comfort working with diverse client accounting systems andindustries. - A willingness to mentor and lead a team of staff andstudents.
