Major Duties & Responsibilities Welcome all customers and set expectations Custom fit glasses and accurately place prescription in lenses Act as a leader in optical acumen Take and record measurements, adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions Accurately use technology despite time pressure and customer volume, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge Proactively explore root causes of issues, ensure customers are satisfied, exceed expectations, and are solution-driven Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs & competencies Take pride in store appearance and maintain store cleanliness, attractiveness, and organization Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices Be resourceful, self-motivated, and have a desire for continual learning, improvement, and results Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management Basic Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent State Licensure Optical dispensing experience Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder Knowledge of current store merchandise Strong basic math skills Awareness of current fashion trends Sales skills ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators Embrace new technology and change Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service and retail experience Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
