We are hiring a French Language Teacher to provide in-person customized lessons to our clients in Toronto. Job Information: Ref. # 193913: The student is a 10-year-old child Location: Lessons are to be held at the student''s home (near Vermont Square Park, Toronto, ON M6G 1T8) Availability: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 pm Lesson Frequency: Twice per week Lesson Duration: 60 minutes per session Current target language level: Intermediate Languages spoken at home: English, Swiss German Student''s language needs and goals: Catch up with year 5 curriculum and be ready for year 6 in private school. The lessons should focus on grammar, writting, and school-related vocabulary. Additional information: He''s interested in facts and figures, mythology, loves Asterix comic books, non-fiction podcasts. Responsibilities: Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners'' proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students'' progress and guiding learners toward learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner Qualifications: Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field Minimum of two years of teaching experience Experience teaching children is desired
