Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Manager or Service Coordinator to support the daily operations of our Service Department. This role works closely with the Vice President of Service and field teams to ensure efficient scheduling, strong customer relationships, and successful service delivery. We are looking for someone who has worked in service, supporting or managing an electrical service department or who someone has electrical experienced that will support them in this role while they learn our business. This individual should be one who can take the initiative as there is an opportunity to grow into a leadership role within our service team. Help us take our service department to the next level. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily service operations including scheduling, dispatching, invoicing estimating and resource planning Coordinate service calls and small projects from start to completion Communicate with clients to schedule work, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of service Track job progress, update work orders, and follow up on outstanding quotes or tasks Maintain and monitor service calendars, technician workloads, and job documentation Support preparation of service estimates and proposals Help manage material procurement and inventory for service work Work with electrical suppliers to source materials and manage pricing Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures Collaborate with accounting for invoicing, time entry, and job costing Assist in monitoring KPIs and service department performance metrics Qualifications 4+ years of experience as electrical service coordination, project support, electrician apprentice or field work in the electrical industry is strongly preferred Strong understanding of electrical materials, tools, and common product lines used in commercial and residential service work Experience working directly with electrical suppliers and vendors to order materials, track deliveries, and manage costs Proficiency with scheduling software, Microsoft Office Suite, and service management platforms (e.g. Vendor Caf, Jonas, Real suite, Accubid other service programs etc.) Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Working knowledge of electrical terminology and contracting workflows is a strong asset estimating are an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
