As primary point of contact of these programs, you will: Answer questions from associates and managers, and troubleshoot/escalate issues to vendors as required Ensure effective communication of programs through online, in store, and electronic communication so that associates and managers understand the coverage offered Validate and pay program invoices and rebill within the organization Work in collaboration with Payroll to ensure efficient benefit administration, such as changes to existing members and terminations Support contract negotiations and implement rate or program changes following contract renewal Support managers in communicating the value of the benefits programs to associates What does it take to get on track? Degree related to Human Resources Management and 1+ years of benefits management and/or payroll experience in a multi-provincial environment; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) or Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is an asset Prior benefits administration, payroll, or accounting experience with a working knowledge of benefit cost accounting practices would be a definite asset Working knowledge of HRIS tools and reports Strong organizational and time management skills in order to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines Ability to work independently, make decisions within defined guidelines and make recommendations based on experience and judgment Demonstrated professionalism when dealing with confidential and sensitive associate information At Fountain Tire, you would have a great place to work If you''re a proactive and skilled Benefits Coordinator looking to make a difference in a supportive and dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply online today
