Overview Position Summary: To pick and pack online grocery delivery orders ensuring a high quality standard and accuracy while adhering to safety and food hygiene standards to achieve customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Efficiently pick and assemble orders from various temperature zones with care and quality in mind to achieve on-time delivery to customers. Pack orders with attention to detail including distinguishing between similar named products, exact quantity, and correct product codes. Ensure that products picked are of high quality with no damaged items and the freshest product selection where applicable. Document and label all orders correctly through interpretation of pick slips, packaging details, and shipping labels. Optimize tote fill by packing orders in a space-efficient manner while maintaining product quality standards. Balance fulfillment responsibilities with customer interaction and provide service to aid issue resolution. Maintain strict adherence to safety and food hygiene standards, keep a clean work area, promptly clean spills, ensure totes are free of debris, operate material handling equipment safely, and complete safety pre-inspection checks before use. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes to procedures, productivity, safety, and quality standards; demonstrate flexibility to meet daily delivery schedules. The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.00. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
