They provide physical assessments, symptom control support, palliative care, rehabilitation therapy, wound care, education, counselling to individuals and families and much more. Our Clinic Nurses provide care in VON community clinics. Our clinics provide client assessments, wound care, IV medications, client and family education, and much more. A valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle are required A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required and a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or a Child Abuse Registry Check may be required Clinical practice experience is an asset Experience in community health is an asset The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required Working conditions and physical demands: This role requires a detailoriented approach in a dynamic environment, with physical activity including lifting, carrying (using proper techniques), bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements that emphasize good body mechanics. Individuals in the role are required to walk, sit, stand, and climb stairs throughout the day, with some tasks requiring fine hand movements.
