This is an on-the-tools leadership role delivering piling and foundation works on complex house relocation projects. You will lead from the front working alongside your crew, setting the standard on site, and owning safety, quality, and productivity. This role suits a builder who understands how work gets delivered: people, ground conditions, sequencing, compliance, and pressure. About the Role You will lead the piling and foundations crew across house removal and relocation projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard. You will be on site, on the tools, and in charge working closely with the Foreman, Project Coordinator, and Operations Manager to plan, sequence, and deliver works that integrate smoothly with wider operations. Your focus is simple: Key Responsibilities Lead and work alongside the piling crew on site Deliver piling and foundation works to consented standards Plan daily tasks and coordinate site activity Read and work confidently from plans and specifications Own site health, safety, and quality outcomes Adapt to changing site and ground conditions Complete daily site records and job wash-ups Communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly About You You are a capable, practical site leader who earns respect through excellent people skills, experience, and consistency. You will bring: Experience in construction, piling, foundations, or house removal Current LBP (Foundations and/or Building) ideal Strong knowledge of NZ health & safety requirements Confidence reading plans and working to consent A solutions-focused, calm approach on site The ability to lead from the front Class 2 licence (or higher), First Aid, and site safety certifications are preferred.
