What You''ll Do Lead and manage the full lifecycle of transportation engineering projects, from proposal development, scoping, and budgeting through detailed design, implementation, and closeout. Effectively communicate technical concepts to clients, contractors, and project partners. Develop and actively manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to meet or exceed performance, quality, and delivery benchmarks. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across offices and disciplines, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project goals. Prepare and oversee comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, financial reports, progress updates, and contractual deliverables. Build and maintain strong client relationships, leveraging your network and credibility with Parks Canada Agency and other Alberta municipalities to drive project success and future opportunities. Mentor and support junior engineering staff, providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and opportunities for professional growth. Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new project opportunities and supporting proposal preparation. Prepare clear reports, memos, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences. Stay current with evolving transportation tools, standards, and best practices. What You''ll Bring 5+ years of experience in transportation engineering, ideally combining both field and office based consulting roles. Registration in good standing as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or Professional Technologist (CET or P.Tech). Direct project experience with Parks Canada Agency is preferred; experience with Southern/Central Alberta rural municipalities is also valuable. Proven track record in: Managing transportation projects Overseeing detailed design ensuring technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance with client and regulatory standards. Managing construction delivery, including tender preparation, contract administration and site coordination Leading proposal development and delivering impactful client presentations Navigating third-party coordination (utilities, developers, adjacent projects) Project controls and reporting, including invoicing, change orders, progress reporting, and budget tracking Clear, confident communication skills and experience producing high-quality technical reports, memos, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences. Valid (or in progress) Class 5 driver''s license. What Can We Offer You? The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 per annum.
