We provide a diverse range of roles across many locations and a career where you can make a meaningful impact.THE ROLEThe Sports Facility Supervisor supervises, organizes, assigns and reviews the work of employees in the Fitness Centre and is involved with the hiring of employees. The Sports Facility Supervisor is responsible for organizing work activities for employees within other work units or departments and resolves work related issues. Work in this position involves preparing and submitting reports, preparing employee work schedules, verifying and entering employee hours. This role also safeguards merchandise, supplies and equipment. This role also includes supervision of registration processes, assisting with special events, inspecting equipment and facilities for safety and ensuring corrective acting is taken when required. The Sports Facility Supervisor establishes safety and emergency procedures, ensures that employees; and documents follow safety procedures and communicates incidents, accidents or damages when they occur. The Sports Facility Supervisor assists with the drafting and implementation of operating policies and procedures and complies with NPF policies, procedures, regulations and applicable legislation, including ensuring compliance with Health and Safety programs.QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses College diploma or certificate in Recreation, Public or Business Administration or a related field AND some years of experience in a related field OR High school diploma AND several years of experience in a related field AND Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification Experience In personnel administration In budget administration In general office administration Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership. The successful candidate will be required to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check.
