Position Details: Echo NDE is currently seeking a National Board Inspector, with API 510, 570, and ABSA In-Service, for project work. Responsibilities: Perform API 510 and/or 570 inspections, assessing inspection results, reporting all findings, and recommending any required repairs. Act as a crew lead and manage/motivate a crew of NDT technicians who will assist with all inspection activities. Assessing inspection results, reporting all findings, and recommending any required repairs Establish and maintain positive working relationships with both clients and co-workers. Coordinate all on-site schedule logistics and contractor management. Observe and follow safety rules and practices, and other safety requirements for all projects. Requirements: API 510 and/or API 570 certification(s). ABSA In-Service Inspection Certification(s). National Board Certification. Additional NDE or API certifications are a strong asset. Technically competent in the application of applicable codes, standards, and provincial/federal regulations related to API 510/570, or the National Board. Current First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry/Rescue, Fall Protection, CSO, and EWP training. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with both clients and co-workers. Detail oriented and well organized with strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team, as well as independently.
