Core hours: 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Hourly wage: $17.60$20.00, depending on role and qualifications/experience. Reporting to the Camp Director, Summer Camp Counsellors are responsible for the day-to-day camp operations, including: Program planning and activity preparation Leading and supervising camp activities Engaging positively with children in a supportive and inclusive manner Ensuring a safe, fun, and structured environment for all participants Camp Programs Summer Camp Counsellors may be assigned to one or more of the following programs, based on experience and interest: Multi-Sports Swimming Culinary Creative Arts Creative Dance Performing Arts / Drama Digital Photography Science Basketball Coding / Robotics Gymnastics Tennis Badminton Engineering & Building Design Tiny Tots Visual Arts Qualifications Energetic, enthusiastic, and creative individual Minimum 1 year of experience working with children in a camp or similar setting Valid First Aid & CPR certification (required) Knowledge of sports such as soccer, basketball, hockey, or tennis is considered an asset Strong communication skills and ability to work with a variety of age groups and skill levels Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Vulnerable Sector Screening (required) About The Boulevard Club For over a century, The Boulevard Club has built a reputation for time-honoured traditions, exemplary service, and outstanding athletic programming for all ages and abilitiesincluding tennis, badminton, aquatics, fitness, basketball, pickleball, and more.
