The in-office requirement is a minimum of three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday), with the flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days. Salary The base salary for this position is from $112,500 - $156,250. The starting base salary is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knolwedge, role complexity, experience and internal equity. Initial Posting Close Date February 23, 2026 About This Opportunity We are recruiting for a Senior Tax Manager to oversee Coca Cola Bottling''s Canadian tax obligations, including income tax, indirect tax, withholding tax, property tax, and provincial recycling and environmental levies. This role is a key subject matter expert, ensuring compliance across federal, provincial, and municipal regulations while supporting business growth through proactive tax planning and risk management. In this role, you will collaborate closely with finance, legal, supply chain, and external partners, and serve as the primary point of contact with Canadian tax authorities. Responsibilities Income Tax Manage all aspects of Canadian corporate income tax compliance, including preparation, review, and filing of federal and provincial corporate tax returns. Oversee tax provisions and disclosures under Canadian ASPE. Support tax audits and reviews with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and provincial authorities Identify and implement tax planning opportunities aligned with business strategy. Monitor and assess the impact of legislative and regulatory changes on the business. Indirect Taxes (Sales & Excise Taxes) Ensure compliance with GST/HST, QST and PST obligations across Canada. Review and oversee sales tax return filings, reconciliations, and payments. Provide advisory support to the business on indirect tax matters, including product launches, pricing, and supply chain changes. Manage indirect tax audits and inquiries. Withholding Taxes Oversee compliance related to withholding taxes on cross-border and domestic payments, including dividends, interest, royalties, and service fees. Ensure accurate application of tax treaties and proper documentation (e.g., NR slips). Partner with Treasury, Payroll, and Legal to maintain compliant processes. Property and Other Local Taxes Manage property tax compliance and reporting, including reviews of assessments and coordination of appeals where appropriate. Oversee business-related municipal taxes and levies, ensuring accurate filing and payment. Environmental & Recycling Deposit Reporting Manage compliance with provincial recycling deposit return programs and environmental stewardship obligations across multiple jurisdictions. Oversee reporting, filings, reconciliations, and remittances related to container deposit legislation and recycling programs. Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and external service providers to ensure accurate data capture and reporting. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Act as a trusted tax advisor to senior leadership and cross-functional partners. Coordinate and manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and consultants. Support internal controls and documentation related to tax processes. Contribute to tax process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA designation required. Minimum 810 years of progressive tax experience, ideally combining public accounting and corporate tax Experience managing provincial recycling deposit programs and multi jurisdictional reporting preferred. Prior experience in a large multinational or CPG/manufacturing environment preferred. Strong knowledge of Canadian corporate income tax, indirect taxes, withholding taxes, and environmental levies. Demonstrated leadership abilities to effectively lead and mentor team members. Ability to interpret and apply complex tax legislation. Strong analytical, technical, and problem solving capabilities. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain tax concepts to non tax stakeholders Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
