Overview Job Summary Night Crew Manager 50 Matheson, Mississauga $19-$20 At Food World Supermarket, our mission is to be a trusted destination for multi-ethnic groceries by providing a taste of home through authentic products, responsible sourcing, and a customer-focused approach that celebrates cultural diversity. We are looking for Night Crew Manager to manage the effective functioning of the Night Shift of the Superstore crew, to ensure the stocking of shelves and neat presentation of the store for the next day of business. Responsibilities Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided in a courteous manner to maintain our reputation for friendly, effective, and personalized experience. To oversee with proper receiving procedures, including the verification of merchandise with invoices to ensure accuracy of logs; To ensure proper product rotation, all shelves are properly stocked, and that grocery merchandise is labelled with proper PLUs; To ensure that all ordering of product is complete for the next day; To ensure safety policies and procedures are adhered to and that the store is neat and clean for the next day of business; To manage and direct employees and work flexible shifts including nights and weekends In the absence of the Grocery Manager, to assume the duties of the Grocery Manager maintaining the security of the business at all times; To perform other duties, as required. Qualifications Exceptional customer service skills Three years experience in the night crew manager role and three years experience in grocery retail role. Strong merchandising experience; Ability to manage and direct employees; Flexibility to work weekends as support to the 7-day operations; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Food World Supermarket uses Workwolfs AI-enabled tools to sort and screen applications based on job-related criteria.
