Hours: 20 hours/week (plus teaching hours) Reports to: Fitness Director Compensation: $30$35/hr Role Overview The Studio Lead Yoga Studio is a part-time leadership role responsible for the quality, consistency, and growth of Yoga, Barre, and Mat Pilates programming at One Health Clubs Mississauga. Working closely with the Fitness Director, this role supports instructor performance, elevates member experience, and helps cultivate a connected, high-performing Yoga Studio community. This is a hands-on position suited for an experienced instructor who enjoys mentoring others, maintaining program standards, and contributing creatively to studio culture and engagement. What Youll Be Responsible For Program Quality & Class Experience Regularly observe and audit classes to ensure a consistent, safe, and high-quality member experience. Support instructors with feedback and coaching to strengthen class delivery, flow, and presence. Assist with refining class formats, descriptions, and overall program structure. Contribute ideas for seasonal programming updates and new class experiences. Instructor Support & Team Development Act as a key point of contact for Yoga, Barre, and Mat Pilates instructors. Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of new and existing instructors. Foster clear communication between instructors and the Fitness Director. Lead or support quarterly team meetings and ongoing education opportunities. Stay current with industry trends by experiencing studios and classes outside of One Health Clubs. Community, Events & Engagement Help plan and support special classes, workshops, and club-wide wellness initiatives. Collaborate with Marketing to highlight Yoga Studio offerings and instructors. Be a visible, approachable leader before and after classes to connect with members and gather feedback. Contribute creative ideas to boost class attendance and studio engagement. Teaching & Studio Presence Teach a minimum of three classes per week within Yoga, Barre, and/or Mat Pilates. Support schedule stability by assisting with sub coverage when available. Lead at least one specialty class or workshop per quarter. Qualifications & Fit 200-hour Yoga certification required; Mat Pilates and/or Barre certification is an asset. Minimum of 3 years teaching experience. Previous leadership, mentorship, or program support experience preferred. Strong communication, organization, and feedback skills. Passion for community-building, program excellence, and instructor development.
