Your Opportunity at SECURE As our Senior Well Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and project managing well completion, workover, stimulation, and asset retirement obligation (ARO) projects in collaboration with the Manager of Well Operations & Geology. The role works closely with General Managers, Facility Managers, and Operations teams to troubleshoot disposal well performance, manage water quality initiatives, and optimize injection operations. This position provides senior-level technical analysis and coordination to support Business Development, Technical Services, Operations Support, Finance, and Regulatory teams, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective well operations across the organization. This role is based out of Calgary, Alberta To be considered for this position, please submit your application by February 27, 2026 The Team This role operates within a highly collaborative, cross-functional team environment, working closely with Well Operations & Geology, Operations, Facilities, Technical Services, and Regulatory teams. Work Environment The work environment is fast-paced and field-connected, balancing office-based technical analysis with operational support across active assets. Consistent with SECURE''s focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement, the role requires hands-on engagement, strong planning discipline, and adaptability to evolving operational priorities. A Day in The Life Lead and project manage well operations projects including completions, workovers, stimulations, and ARO activities Provide technical leadership for disposal well performance and injectivity optimization Prepare drilling, completion, workover, and stimulation programs Support implementation of well monitoring and surveillance programs Ensure regulatory and legislative compliance Support Measurement and Control team on injection fluid characterization Design and execute reservoir-specific stimulation techniques Analyze injection and performance data to optimize operations Develop cost estimates, forecasts, and technical proposals Skills, Experience & Qualifications 10 years of progressive experience in well operations, completions, workovers, or stimulations E.T. or Engineering designation required Cavern experience is considered an asset but not required Strong understanding of disposal well operations and well integrity Ability to lead complex projects with minimal supervision Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with WellView, PetroSight, and GeoScout What''s in it for you At SECURE, we focus on opportunities for growth and improvement; for our employees, our customers, our partners, and the communities we operate in.
