The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance department, ensuring that all machinery and equipment operate efficiently to support production. This role is critical to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, leadership experience, and a commitment to continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesOversee and coordinate the maintenance team, ensuring timely and effective maintenance of all equipment and machineryDevelop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtimeTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issuesEnsure all work is performed in accordance with quality standards and established safety proceduresManage maintenance budgets, including the procurement of parts and equipmentConduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvementTrain and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvementCollaborate with other departments to support production needs and company goalsOther related duties as requiredEducation & ExperienceBachelors degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred but not necessary.Inter-Provincial Red Seal certification or Journeyman Certificate in a relevant trade is an assetMinimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial roleStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automated systemsExcellent communication and leadership skillsAn attractive compensation and benefits package will be provided.
